Memphis ISLAMIC CENTER
A Family Life Center
POSTPONED
Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear MIC Community,
Due to hazardous road conditions in Memphis and the surrounding MIC area, and out of concern for everyone’s safety, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this weekend’s Youth Retreat and postpone it to a later date.
We sincerely thank you all for your understanding, support, and continued du‘aa. We ask Allah to place kheir in this decision for everyone. The new date for the Youth Retreat will be shared once it is finalized inshaAllah.
Jazakumullahukheiran for your patience and support.

Over the past three decades, the Muslim population in Memphis-Shelby County has grown tremendously, with a major shift toward the eastern suburbs where most Muslims now reside. While several mosques and institutions have been established, many community needs, especially those of families, women, and youth, remain unmet. The Memphis Islamic Center (MIC) seeks to bridge this gap by creating a family life center that goes beyond prayer, serving the spiritual, social, and civic needs of the entire Muslim community.
